As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas while supporting security-related screening operations for people, packages, and access points. You will complete routine checks, stay visible to help reduce incidents, and communicate clearly with team members and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers entering controlled areas by verifying identification, checking credentials, and enforcing access requirements.
• Inspect packages, bags, and/or shipments as required using approved methods and equipment, and document findings per post orders.
• Monitor entry and exit points, assist with traffic and/or dock flow as needed, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, complete required reports, and communicate updates to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• X-Ray Screening Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
