Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Security Clearance

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Security Clearance in Northridge, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to access and alarm activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering a customer-focused experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points, monitoring for unusual activity and/or conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access.
• Control access through designated checkpoints by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing visitors, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, supporting evacuations, and coordinating with on-site personnel as directed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, access activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate updates through the chain of command.

Minimum Requirements:

• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
