The successful candidate:

The respiratory care practitioner is a professional caregiver who assesses the respiratory needs of patients and works closely with physicians, nurses, and other health care team members to administer all respiratory care procedures that provide the maximum therapeutic and diagnostic benefit to the patient. The respiratory care practitioner also administers non-invasive cardiology procedures dependent to the individual's capabilities and training, i.e. EKG, HOLTER. In this vital role, you'll assess, plan, and provide high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver the best possible outcomes.

• Current Georgia license as a Respiratory Therapist (or eligible for immediate Georgia licensure).
• MUST BE RRT-Registered
• Required - minimum associate degree in respiratory therapy and 1 year experience
• BLS/CPR and ACLS required.
• Ability to perform EKG's required; experience with PFT's and/or bedside spirometry preferred
