Security Officer - Night Foot Patrol

As a Security Officer - Night Foot Patrol in Mesquite, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control at entrances and checkpoints, assist employees and visitors with clear communication, and document observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading dock areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization, and directing drivers and visitors to designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when required and completing required notifications.
• Document daily activities and incidents in written reports and logs, including patrol findings, access activity, and unusual conditions, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
