As a Security Officer - Mobile Driver Patrol in Commerce City, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service. You will deliver strong customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by a caring culture and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, process areas, parking lots, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Control access at gates and/or entrances by verifying credentials, logging visitors, issuing badges as directed, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and facility systems as assigned, and promptly report irregular conditions, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, provide clear verbal directions, and complete accurate incident reports and activity logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
