Security Officer - Evening Patrol Rounds

As a Security Officer - Evening Patrol Rounds in Sherman Oaks, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants, visitors, and staff with professional customer service and clear communication while documenting observations and reporting concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management and/or emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and common areas, verify credentials and/or visitor logs as required by post orders, and assist with directing people to authorized areas.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs, and communicate security-related observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
