As a Security Officer - Entry Screening Specialist in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government courthouse location as a Screener, helping to support a welcoming, orderly environment. You will conduct entry screening, monitor queues and checkpoints, and maintain a visible presence while communicating clearly with visitors and staff. You will document security-related activity, respond to situations with professionalism, and deliver a people-first experience through teamwork, integrity, and innovative, reliable service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following site-specific access control and security-related screening procedures at facility entry points.
• Operate and monitor screening equipment and conduct manual screening as required, helping to deter prohibited items from entering the location while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities per post orders and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain orderly visitor flow by verifying identification, managing check-in processes, issuing visitor credentials when authorized, and directing individuals to appropriate areas of the facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, lobbies, and perimeter points, and document observations per policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
