As a Security Guard - Cultural Site Rounds in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a world-class cultural arts venue, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support guests, staff, and performers with clear communication and professional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, performers, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the performing arts location, including public areas, lobbies, corridors, loading and/or backstage areas as assigned, noting and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support entry screening and/or credential checks during rehearsals, performances, and special events to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, lost child or guest assistance, and/or facility alarms, and communicate updates per post orders.
• Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and service requests, and coordinate with on-site personnel and first responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of Security Experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
