Market & Client Support Team Lead – (job location is New York, NY; employer is Octaura LL TradingCo LLC) – Provide operational support and analysis to users of Octaura’s trading platform. Lead team of professionals who function as points of contact for clients/users inquiring on technical issues and operational trade-related issues such as failed trades, trade breaks, trade allocations and trade settlement for syndicated loans and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). Keep abreast of market and regulatory changes to ensure our trading platform’s ongoing compliance with applicable rules and standards. Maintain operational workflows and conduct relevant client training such as client enablement or other product functionality. Assist Head of Market & Client Support with coaching, scheduling and developing the team. Perform UAT of new product features and upgrades to fix functional issues prior to public release. Make product recommendations to improve customer experience. Help develop and maintain customer support knowledge base and documentation. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, or Financial Technology, plus 2 years of experience in position offered or in operational support position in financial technology or electronic trading. All of the required experience must have included: providing operational support to electronic trading platform including onboarding new customers, setting up user profiles, and adjusting trading limits; performing functional testing of trading application; advising and training users on products and new functional upgrades; troubleshooting daily product inquiries and trade processing of fixed income products, syndicated loans or collateralized loan obligations (CLOs); ensuring trading platform and trades comply with regulations around broker dealer operations, customer interaction and communication, trade processing, and SEC oversight of alternative trading systems; and utilizing Jira or other CRM tool. FINRA licensing (Series 7/7TO and 63) is required. #LI-DNI.
