Civil Engineering Principal-in-Charge/Vice President - Transportation Role Description: Huitt-Zollars, Inc has a full-time opportunity for a Civil Engineering Vice President/Principal-in-Charge, Transportation for our Seattle, WA office. The candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in transportation civil engineering with a strong emphasis on transit and ports, and preferred experience working with state DOTs. This role is responsible for leading complex transportation projects and driving strategic business development efforts across the Pacific Northwest. The successful candidate will develop business and manage transportation projects involving planning, engineering, construction, and program management services, with a heavy focus on growing transit work and expanding Huitt-Zollars' transportation presence in the region. Current clients served include Sound Transit, King County Metro, and the Port of Seattle. In addition, this role will lead growth efforts with WSDOT and other regional transportation partners, leveraging Huitt-Zollars' roadway and bridge experience from other regions to expand services across Washington State. Annual Base Salary Range: $200,000-$240,000 and up depending on experience and qualifications of the selected candidate(s). The expected salary range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Washington Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed upon compensation is based on the success candidate's individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and consideration to participate in our discretionary annual bonus incentive program.
