As a Senior Software Engineer on the Path team, you'll partner with stakeholders to translate business goals into engineering plans and execute them with a relentless focus on security, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Solve complex challenges in distributed systems: geo-replication, disaster recovery, data migration, and work distribution. Collaborate in an agile environment, interacting with major Office 365 teams to build cross-service integrationsand leverageexpertisein product features; partner with stakeholders and managers to drive workgroup project plans, release plans, and work items. Partner with Program Management to design, implement, test, and iterate features for 10x growth in usage. Ensure secure, high-quality product delivery, overseeing system architecture and code quality. Champion Live Site culture, ensuring reliability and customer delightandmentorengineers, shaping the vision for agentic AI-powered work management. Seek new knowledge, adapt to trends, and apply technical solutions and patterns to improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance across products,driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Scienceor related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experienceinfullstack/backend development withcoding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Computer Scienceor related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python ORBachelor's Degree in Computer Scienceor related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. 6+ years of experiencecreating,releasing,and evolving largecommercial softwarecomponents or products at scale. Experience collaborating across teams to deliver complete features and end-to-end customer experiences. Experience with NOSQL databases and high volume / throughput web applications and their design. Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
