Senior Operations Director – (job location is New York, NY; employer is Walleye Capital LLC) – Assist institutional clients in establishing and managing hedge fund programs. Conduct daily reconciliations of investment portfolios and funds. Analyze financial agreements to enhance treasury management and reduce financial risks. Perform regular margin reviews to safeguard investments. Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and reports. Develop and manage user-friendly dashboards for internal and client reporting. Provide support in onboarding new clients, especially involving equity and credit-related financial products. Coordinate closely with external partners (i.e. fund administrators and prime brokers) to complete month end NAV reconciliations in coordination with our accounting team. Identify opportunities to automate manual ops processes and improve efficiency within our operations and treasury dashboards. Set-up daily and/or weekly check-ins with our clients to maintain clear and timely communication regarding new onboards, current sub-advisor reviews, and ongoing portal development. Communicate and build relationships with investors, banks, and hedge funds. Utilize Python and Groovy to streamline and improve data processes. Requirements: Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role. All of the required experience must have included experience with: working on shadow reconciliations, NAV close packs, and trade flow optimization; working with a diverse range of financial products including equities, credit instruments, swaps, futures, options, and FX, at a sell-side or buy-side firm; performing financial reconciliation and treasury management; performing margin risk assessment and analysis; performing trade and cash flow reconciliations for structured credit and fixed-income products; automation and process improvement utilizing technology initiatives to improve cash/ trade reconciliation, treasury management, or trading optimization; and working with dashboards and visualization tables. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location. Salary: $179,088/year.
