Vice President, Private Debt Mobilization, LATAM – (job location is New York, NY; employer is Banco Santander, S.A.) - Lead the syndication process of (1) corporate and project finance loans and (2) private credit transactions in Latin America, performing these specific duties: Support deal origination teams in drafting pitch materials from the prospecting and pitching phase to the execution stage of transactions. Prepare market comparables analyses and draft indicative terms and conditions. Negotiate term sheets, engagement and commitment letters, deal informational materials, and other financial legal documents. Lead syndication processes for underwritten transactions in Latam, Develop and maintain effective industry relationships with legal counsels, corporate clients and sponsors and external parties including banks, multilateral agencies, debt funds and other institutional investors. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Business Administration with concentration in Finance, plus 5 years of progressive post-Bachelor’s experience in the position offered or in a debt financing position in the banking sector. All required experience must have included: structuring private debt and loan syndications in Latin America within a broad range of sectors and debt structures including acquisition financings, corporate loans, sovereign financings, trade and commodity finance, and project finance; supporting origination and pitching efforts by leveraging market insights and financial modeling to develop tailored debt financing strategies; using knowledge of Latin American loan markets to provide underwriting recommendations for internal risk approval process, including coverage of all relevant market scenarios, risks and mitigants, final hold levels, potential demand, and reduction analysis for rotation of capital purposes; serving as primary contact for banks in Latin America for debt distribution and asset rotation; and managing and mentoring deal teams. FINRA licenses (Series 79/79TO and Series 63) required. Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally approximately 20% of time for client meetings and industry conferences. #LI-DNI.
