Graphic Designer

This is a hybrid role in Allendale, NJ.

Pay Range: $31/hr - $36/hr

You will be instrumental in crafting compelling designs that elevate brand perception and drive market success, working independently to manage projects from concept through production and delivering polished, production-ready work that truly stands out.

What You'll Do:

• Develop captivating visual concepts and designs for a wide range of materials, including product packaging, promotional content, and core brand assets.
• Lead design projects from initial brief to final production, guaranteeing accuracy, brand consistency, and adherence to established standards.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, purchasing, and production, as well as external vendors, to achieve design objectives.
• Efficiently manage multiple design projects concurrently, consistently meeting deadlines within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Prepare precise, press-ready files and proofs for various printing methods, including digital, offset, and flexographic.
• Produce high-quality virtual representations, physical mockups, original photography, and illustrations for diverse applications, including web layouts.
• Conduct thorough reviews of all creative work, maintaining meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Offer creative guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to less experienced designers when opportunities arise.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, materials, and production techniques to ensure cutting-edge design solutions.

What You'll Bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong emphasis on print and packaging design.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• A demonstrated ability to work autonomously and proactively solve complex design challenges.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing your creativity, craftsmanship, and ability to deliver production-ready work.
• The agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
• A deep understanding of package design principles, die lines, proofing processes, various printing techniques, color management, illustration, and photography.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills, coupled with a strong receptiveness to feedback and direction.
