The Role:

Our Chaska, MN and Billerica, MA sites are seeking a Trade Compliance Senior Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for a broad range of export compliance activities and the supervision of direct reports.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementing regulatory updates
  • Managing export licensing and determining GTS block releases
  • Overseeing daily compliance processes, procedures, AES filings
  • Supporting GTS testing, system maintenance and enhancement opportunities.

The successful candidate will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external parties-including government agencies and senior leadership-to ensure our export operations are both compliant and efficient.

What You'll Do:

  • Support Global Trade Services (GTS) compliance activities-including system testing, maintenance support, and therelease of blocked documents-while resolving issues in collaboration with Customer Service, Product Management, and Shipping teams.
  • Oversee customer and destination screening to ensure alignment with denied party lists, embargoed country regulations, and other restrictedparty requirements.
  • Supervise the accurate and timely submission of Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings in the Automated Export System (AES), ensuring adherence to all regulatory timelines.
  • Administer export licenses, including issuance, tracking, and monitoring of license usage, conditions, and expiration dates.
  • Provide support for AgilePointbased compliance workflows as needed.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of ECCN classifications, HTS codes, and countryoforigin data across SAP, GTS, and other corporate systems.
  • Maintain and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support consistent and compliant trade practices.
  • Ensure all export activities comply with applicable regulations-including OFAC, EAR, ITAR, DEA, FDA, and other relevant U.S. and international export control requirements.
  • Perform additional trade compliance and exportrelated tasks as assigned.

What We Seek:

  • 5+ years of progressive export trade compliance experience within a global manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred experience with SAP GTS or other global trade compliance and screening software platforms.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commodity classification, including ECCN and HTS assignments, and related regulatory requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of Export Administration Regulations (EAR); familiarity with other export control regimes is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and compliance integrity.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and meet critical deadlines in a fastpaced environment

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

  • Supervisory experience
  • Export Compliance Professional (ECoP).
  • In-depth knowledge of EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and CBP regulations.
