SERVER ASSISTANT

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, energetic Server Assistant / Food Runner to support our restaurant team and deliver exceptional guest service. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized dining environment while ensuring timely and accurate food and beverage service.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clear, clean, and reset tables; maintain dining room cleanliness throughout service
• Deliver food from kitchen to guests accurately and efficiently
• Support servers and bartenders with daily operations
• Set up and maintain buffet and bar areas, including ice, glassware, and supplies
• Stock and replenish glassware, silverware, beverages, and service items
• Prepare coffee, tea, juices, and assist with basic mise en place
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance concerns
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service standards
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests
• Assist as needed with side work and additional assigned duties

Qualifications:

• Strong team player with a positive attitude
• Passion for hospitality and guest service
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must possess a valid California Food Handler Certification and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification, or be willing and able to obtain both upon hire
