Cycle Counter - Contingent Upon Contract Award Company Overview Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Cycle Counter to ensure inventory accuracy and material integrity in support of production readiness and mission execution. What You'll Do * Perform scheduled and ad-hoc cycle counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. * Reconcile physical counts against ERP/MRP system records. * Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in collaboration with Supply Chain and Production teams. * Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper system transactions. * Identify root causes of inventory variances and recommend corrective actions. * Audit material locations for proper labeling, storage, and traceability. * Support annual physical inventory activities. * Ensure compliance with FIFO and inventory control procedures. * Assist with material movement and reorganization initiatives. * Maintain organized, clean, and audit-ready stockroom and warehouse areas. Requirements * 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing support. * Experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliations. * Proficiency using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel, inventory software). * Understanding of inventory control principles and material traceability. * Ability to work independently and manage priorities. * Strong communication skills to coordinate cross-functionally. * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance. Preferred * Experience in aerospace, defense, or electronics manufacturing environments. * Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality management systems. * Experience supporting audits or compliance inspections. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and move about regularly throughout the day and lift / carry up to 25 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment. Work Environment This position typically operates in a standard office setting and manufacturing environment. This role requires use of standard office equipment and may involve exposure to equipment, tools, machinery, hazardous chemicals, or materials relevant to the role. This position may have exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and non-climate-controlled environments. May require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on the environment. This is a fast-paced work environment and requires cross departmental collaboration with independent and team-based responsibilities. Standard works hours for this position 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with occasional overtime as operational needs demand.
