job purpose:The Sr. Manager,CapacityPlanning is a key leader within the End-to-End Planning team, responsible for designing and executingsupply chaincapacity, total network supply, and resiliencyplans acrossfairlife'smanufacturingand suppliernetwork. This role ensures that production, filtration, andupstreammilk &materialsrequirementsare aligned with current and future demandscenarios, driving efficient assetutilizationand supporting growth initiatives.In addition, this leader will collaborate closely withprocurement andsuppliers to strengthenresiliency and scalability across the supply chain. Leveraging advanced analytics, scenario modeling, and capacity optimization techniquestoidentifyconstraints, mitigate risks, and inform capital investment decisions.This position partners cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Procurement,Strategy,and Supply ChainPlanningto ensure plans arefeasible, cost-effective, and aligned with business priorities.

responsibilities:



  • Ownenterprisecapacity planningacross processing, packaging, filtration, co-manufacturing operations, and our supplier network.
  • Develop short-,mid-,and long-range capacityand supplymodelsfrom first principlesto support operating plans, annual budgets, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Partner with Procurement, Strategy,and Materials Planning to design supplier resiliency plans and scale supplier capacity to fuel growth.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Maintenance teams tovalidatecapacity assumptions and ensure alignment with equipment capabilities and labor availability.
  • Quantify single points of failure and recovery paths across the end-to-end supply network using scenario-based analysis.
  • Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to integrate capacity plans intoS&OP and integrated business planning (IBP), innovation launches, and scenario planning for new product introductions.
  • Lead cross-functional capacity reviewsthroughthe supply chain (supplier-to-customer)to ensure proactive identification of risks and development of mitigation strategies.
  • Develop andmaintainadvancedscenarioplanning models to drivesupplier & farm capacityrequirements,milkanddairy bi-productsvolumes, and direct/indirect material requirements.
  • Act as a technical planningleadindigitalplanningtransformation,leveragingadvanced planning tools to enhancevisibilityand responsivenessacross oursupplynetwork.
  • Provide thought leadership oncapacity and resiliencyplanning best practices, influencing strategic decisions on network design and investment.
  • Establish modeling standards and reusable frameworks/toolsthat scale across theEnd-to-EndPlanning organization.



skills/qualifications required:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or similar quantitative fieldsrequired;MBArelevant.
  • 7-10 years of experience in capacity planning, supplychainplanning, network modeling, advanced analytics roles,or related supply chain fields.
  • Advancedproficiencyrequiredin:

    • Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, scenario logic,solver builds)
    • Planning platforms (Anaplan, Lyric, Blue Yonder, optimization or simulation tools)
    • Power BI or Tableau for analytical visualization
    • Programming (SQL / Python) experience a plus


  • Skilledin organizing resources andestablishingpriorities.
  • Strong analytical skills,attention to detail, and curiosityrequired.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively witha diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working independentlyonambiguousproblemsetsin a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Able to communicate complex analyses clearly to senior leaders without oversimplifying.
  • Experience in storytelling and presentation to senior/executive leadership.
  • SAP/Dynamics 365 experience preferred but notrequired.
