Position Title: Quality Technician
Wage: $22.25/hour Shift: 3rd, Monday through Thursday Hours: 03:00 pm - 01:00 am Seize your opportunities! Apply with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Quality Technician at a company in Edgerton, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 3rd shift. Apply now! Quality Technician Responsibilities: - Follows standard operating procedures and controlled documents - Verifies the accuracy of raw materials brought to the production line - Verifies the accuracy of documents filled out by production - Performs all testing outlined in master work order including in-process production data as well as packaging - Confirms calibration of all gauges for accuracy - Works with QA Laboratory Technician to maintain proper calibration of gauges - Collaborates with mechanics and Production Line Supervisors to immediately communicate any results that are out of specification to ensure production meets all specifications - Drives continuous improvement of testing procedures and documentation to ensure quality is maintained while optimizing efficiency - Retrieves retained production samples as required - Meets deadlines in a timely and accurate manner - Identifies gaps in process and procedure Requirements for Quality Technician: - Must have longevity in work history within manufacturing with a background in quality - Attention to detail and thoroughness - Communication skills-verbal and written - Quality, GMP and industry knowledge - Accountability and responsibility - Effective prioritization and self-motivation skills - Ability to interpret and correlate data - Ability to read, record data, and follow instructions - Basic math skills - Teamwork and positive attitude - High School Diploma or equivalent - Previous quality experience in manufacturing required - 95% standing, bending and walking - Ability to lift up to 40 lbs QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
