ABOUT THE ROLE

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring supplies are accurately distributed to crews in good condition and in a timely manner. This role must work with a team to complete tasks while complying with federal, state, and local warehousing laws. This role preps and loads supplies and equipment and maintains the necessary paperwork to record product movement. The Warehouse Supervisor may be required to provide direction to junior level warehouse employees.

Boulos Company (ESB) - a subsidiary of MYR Group Inc. - performs electrical construction services throughout the Northeastern U.S. We have two divisions, offering both powerline construction and commercial/industrial electrical construction, making us a full-service electrical provider.

ESB's commercial and industrial electrical construction division specializes in large-scale commercial electrical projects, telecommunications, traffic signalization, gas distribution, high voltage distribution service and maintenance. We also offer design-build and pre-construction services and has in-house pre-fabrication and AutoCAD capabilities.

Essential Functions

  • Schedule and coordinate shipments
  • Manage physical inventory and communicate inventory status as needed
  • Monitor and improve procedures in a manner that improves efficiency and quality
  • Manage warehouse staff and ensure safety procedures and policies are adhered to at all times
  • Maintain good physical condition of facilities
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing the annual budget, managing expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
  • Delegate work to team members in order to accomplish tasks
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and inventory by implementing and monitoring security procedures
  • Advise staff of company policy expectations
  • Lead, direct, and audit the work of assigned staff; act as a mentor
  • Coordinate employee performance reviews
  • Maintain service records on facilities and equipment
  • Coordinate with project teams and successfully meet the demands of construction projects
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Other duties as assigned

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Warehouse experience, electrical experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Management or equivalent experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and encourage staff while holding them accountable
  • Excellent organizational skills with a systematic approach
  • Ability to quickly gain trust and respect for the purpose of establishing and maintaining relationships
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as inventory control systems
