Responsibilities:
- Works with the most senior members of the client organization to ensure that overall program and project direction, strategy and expectations are met
- Possesses an understanding of CIO mission and the impact of managerial practices
- Perform data collection and interview senior staff
- Facilitates discussions and analysis to inform the decision process
- Offers expertise in the form of knowledge, specialty skills, experience, or creativity
- Provides guidance on almost every aspect of DIA's strategic objectives and goals as they relate to the CIO mission
- Have a firm understanding of IC and DOD Risk Management Frameworks, continuous monitoring, risk scoring, and risk management experience
- Act as a high-level designer, defining the framework of core design features and functions of the program objective to be implemented.
- SME in one or more of the following specialties: cloud and systems architectures, security architecture, cloud applications and storage, high performance computing, and software development.
- Provide detailed guidance to development and operations teams to define and maintain operational service levels.
- Coordinate with the technical teams to support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot platform-related software and hardware issues.
- Examine technical documentation, installation guides, and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with platform standards and system parameters, and ensure technical documentation follows agency and industry standards and regulations.
- ServiceNow expertise with extensive knowledge and experience of emerging technologies and existing modules/capabilities to improve platform services.
- Assess technologies, conduct data analysis, and develop technical strategies.
- Assess requirements from process owners and stakeholders to determine if and how a requirement should be implemented within the platform.
Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with CI Poly (or ability to obtain a polygraph)
- Experience: Minimum 14 years of experience
- Education: Master's degree in a related field
- Must be familiar with the DoD acquisition, auditing, project, and program management practices.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/or experience. Prior Engineering experience with Service Management and Delivery with solid knowledge and understanding of IT Operations.
- Experience with instrumentation of ITSM processes in IT Service Management software suites (i.e. ServiceNow, etc.).
- Ability to work comfortably with mid- and senior-level civilian/military personnel.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and support tasks as assigned by Division Chief.
- Detail oriented, strong analysis and organizational skills, forward-thinking skills to anticipate and proactively provide recommendations to customer and team.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Strong public speaking skills required. Ability to create original documentation.
Salary Range: $180k - $215k
