This role supports the communications, coordination, and behind-the-scenes work that keeps our marketing programs running effectively-from newsletters and company communications to events and contentorganization. Overview:

TheIntern - Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports the execution ofLightpath'smarketing and internal communications programs. This role helps keep the marketing organization running smoothly by coordinating recurring communications, supporting events and channel programs, andmaintainingmarketing content and systems.

This is an entry-level role designed for someone with strong organizational and communication skills who is interested in building a career in marketing or communications. The position is expected to evolve from internship to temporary status and potentially to a full-time role.

Responsibilities:

Support recurring company communications and announcements.

  • Coordinate and distribute monthly company-wide Impact Award emails.
  • Help produce the quarterly employee newsletter in partnership with HR.
  • Assist with drafting, editing, and formatting internal communications.
  • Ensure communications follow Lightpath messaging and brand standards.
  • Maintain communication templates and distribution lists.

Support recurring marketing communications programs.

  • Coordinate and produce the monthly Agent/Channel newsletter.
  • Assist with formatting and updating marketing content.
  • Help maintain messaging guides and marketing templates.
  • Support creation and updates of marketing materials.

Provide logistical support forLightpath'sevents and channel marketing programs.

  • Assist with event preparation and coordination.
  • Track registrations and attendee lists.
  • Help coordinate event materials and shipments.
  • Support post-event follow-up activities.
  • Maintain event documentation and checklists.

Helpmaintainmarketing content used across the company.

  • Maintain and organize the Marketing intranet site used by employees.
  • Help maintain the Marketing SharePoint document library.
  • Upload and organize marketing assets.
  • Ensure materials are current and easy to find.
  • Support ongoing content updates.

Provide administrative support that enables marketing programs to run smoothly.

  • Reconcile weekly Marketing American Express expenses.
  • Upload receipts and code expenses.
  • Maintain expense documentation.
  • Assist with vendor and invoice tracking as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Eligible candidates should be entering their senior year of an undergraduate program or be recent graduates of an undergraduate or master's program.
  • Must be local to one of our office locations. Bethpage NY, NYC, Golden CO, Wakefield MA, White Plains NY.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear and professional written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong follow-through and reliability.
  • Comfortable working with documents, spreadsheets, and shared files.

Preferred

  • Interest in marketing or corporate communications.
  • Experience with newsletters, writing, or editing.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with SharePoint is a plus.
  • Experience coordinating events or projects is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 6 months, you will:

  • Help keep marketing communications on schedule.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date marketing content libraries.
  • Support smooth execution of events and newsletters.
  • Ensure marketing administrative tasks are handled consistently.
  • Become a reliable operational resource for the marketing team.
