Job Description




AUWS, an Allied Universal Company, is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator. (This position will assist with on-boarding temporary employees at client locations in WinTeam and Bullhorn and keeping information in both systems up-to-date and accurate.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Assist with management of background check systems, administration, process, and training
  • Assist in cross functional collaboration with recruiting of background compliance in the new hire process, in addition to annual checks and reporting auditing
  • Assist with the administration of the company-wide I-9 system administration and auditing
  • Report compliance issues to Branch Managers / Regional Directors and work with branches to ensure 100% compliance with established program
  • Assist in data mapping for system implementations
  • Assist with new hire form updates
  • Work with field on onboarding training and system trouble shooting
  • Day to day administration of employment verifications and other compliance forms following company protocols.
  • Provide assistance with special projects as assigned
  • Provide break relief for Staffing Specialists and perform related duties as needed during breaks (i.e., answering phones, assisting visitors and vendors, project work, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Minimum of one (1) years of progressive human resource experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
  • Working knowledge of commonly used human resource concepts, labor laws, and practices
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
  • Highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use sound independent judgment and discretion
  • Proven ability to maintain correspondence, discussions, and materials with sensitivity
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent organization skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • One (1) or more years of progressive human resource experience
  • One (1) or more years of temporary staffing experience
