Description & Requirements
The Healthcare Consulting Reimbursement team at Forvis Mazars provides specialized support to healthcare providers navigating complex reimbursement regulations. Their core mission is to help clients optimize financial performance while maintaining compliance with federal and state healthcare policies.
What You Will Do:
  • Help develop a nationally recognized thought leadership approach for healthcare.
  • Expand relationships with our National Pursuits and Strategic Accounts within the healthcare industry.
  • Develop relationships with larger healthcare entities not currently served.
  • Establish a track record of leading clients from consumers of thought leadership materials to purchasers of Forvis Mazars services.
  • Participate as a stakeholder in our Healthcare Industry Strategic Planning process.
  • Expand involvement with national healthcare associations through thought leadership and subject matter excellence.
  • Investigate regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to inform enterprise strategic direction, strategy development, and priority-setting
  • Assist with consulting efforts related to the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP)
  • Develop consulting strategies related to AI tools being implemented by healthcare organizations
  • Additional responsibilities include: Agreed upon client-specific project assistance (client service/charge hours), assistance with new product development, and assistance with internal training and education.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with an accounting, finance or healthcare related discipline
  • 9+ years of relevant experience in healthcare
  • Previous experience in any/all of the following: Revenue Cycle, Price Transparency, No Surprises Act legislation, Medicare & Medicaid Cost Report preparation, and other specialized third party reimbursement knowledge
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master of Business Administration or Master of Health Administration
  • CPA License
