Community Corrections Case Monitorsprovide basic administrative case management support to certified Probation and Parole Officers. Duties include assisting in completing justice-involved individuals (JIIs) intakes by pre-screening and conducting basic initial interviews as JIIs are referred to the department for supervision or pre-sentence investigation; recording and updating basic social history information in database records; and processing routine transactions and requests for information. About the Department/Division: Washington County Community Corrections serves an important role in keeping our community safe. Community Corrections supervises approximately 3,000 Adults on Supervision (AOS) using a range of evidence-based strategies, while working in partnership with the courts, policing agencies, the State Board of Parole, and the Department of Corrections. The Probation and Parole division works to prevent recidivism of crime by providing client-centered community supervision and by connecting them to the resources they need to make long-term behavior change.
