Configuration Manager

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring that assets required to deliverITservices are properly inventoried and accounted for, and that accurate and reliable information includes details ofhowthe assets have been configured and the relationships between them are tracked.

• Perform baseline identification, configuration, control, review, and audit of Configuration Items (Cls) and configuration status accounting.

• Engage in automated data discovery, mapping services, data quality control,CIevaluation, analysis, and fine-tuning discovery schedules.

• Validate asset and configuration management concepts with the customer and stakeholders.

• Maintain the health of the CMDB and perform associated data quality control activities.

• Generatereportsin support of ad hoc and routine tasks tosupportrequests for information and/or satisfy audit and compliance activities.

• Modify policies and procedures, including updating SOPs and documenting processes associated with the execution of sound asset and configuration management practices.

• Manage Requests for Change (RFCs) to ensure additions/modifications to the enterprise baseline are accurately documented/inventoried within the CMDB.

• Implements configuration management best practices across thelifecycle of systems.

• Attendsandsupports asset/configuration management working groups and technical exchange meetings as required.

• Facilitates integration of CMDB with other IT management systems and enhances processes for dataaggregationfrom all CIO automated collection tools to increase dataquality.

Qualifications:

• TS/SCI with CI Poly (or ability to obtain a polygraph)

• Experience: At least 8 years of experience

• Education: Master's degree in a related field

• Strong working knowledge of networks, data centers, hardware, and software required.

• Service Asset Configuration Management (SACM)/ServiceNow CMDB experience highly desired.

• Hands-on experience with administering the ServiceNow Platform, including the IT Operations Management (ITOM) suite of tools (primarily Discovery,Service Mapping), SAM, HAM, and/or CMDB highly desired.

• Security+, CISSP, or similar Security certification, or ability to acquire Security+ certification within 6 months mandatory for 8570 compliance.

• Working knowledge of Configuration and Change Management Processes is aplus.

• DoD and IC experience desired.

• Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Visio.

• Have excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oralcommunication skills.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute assigned tasks while under pressure.

• Excellent creative problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: $115k - $135k
