Job Summary

The Network Platform Engineering (NPE) team is specialized in design, build, and operate Equinix's next-generation programmable network infrastructure, create APIs, orchestration services, and monitor systems that empower both internal and external users to engage with our digital infrastructure in more agile, creative and efficient ways than ever before. We serve as the critical interface between technology teams while supporting the Network Modernization program and providing the foundation for all network services. Our work focuses on vendor-agnostic interfaces, emerging technologies, and TCO optimization.

In this role, you will drive strategic roadmap initiatives focused on new product offerings and network modernization. Partnering cross-functionally, you will drive alignment, define priorities, and execute programs that support both company-wide objectives and NPE goals. You will oversee the delivery of high-complexity, enterprise-level technology programs, ensuring effective execution, cross-team collaboration, and strategic alignment using established methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities


  • Scope, plan, and track multiple large-scale technical projects against program goals, KPIs, roadmap ensuring alignment and coordination with stakeholders and team participants

  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional, cross-organization teams to assemble project plans, secure commitments on deliverables, and lead the resolution of blocking issues

  • Clear communication of projects progress, change, and status updates to leadership

  • Ability to map dependencies and relationships between projects and teams, coordinating work across disparate teams

  • Resolve cross-functional issues and manage external dependencies

  • Identify impediments or bottlenecks that pose a risk to the program success and communicate any trade-offs that may result from these solutions

  • Work with product and engineering management on priorities, clarifying needs and value and securing commitment from teams across the organization, setting timelines, and leading cross-functional teams from design through delivery

  • Lead PI Planning to align priorities, timelines, and dependencies across cross-functional teams, ensuring successful objective execution

  • Identify project improvement areas and action items for improvements

  • Design and deliver program reporting tools and insights

  • Work across time zones on a global scale, as needed


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study or equivalent work experience

  • Proven years of Project/Program Management experience, in software product development environments for large, global organizations

  • Proven years of experience with Agile or other program management methodologies

  • PMP Certification strongly preferred

  • Experienced coordinating with organizational leaders

  • Proven project management experience, preferably in IT infrastructure deployment, with strong knowledge of server technologies and deployment processes

  • Adept in Agile Methodologies, Jira, Confluence, Miro, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work across time zones on a global scale, as needed

Gestion et communication avec les parties prenantes


  • Developper des relations avec les vice-presidents et directeurs de la Societe

  • Communiquer des changements importants a l'envergure, a l'echeancier, aux ressources et au budget des projets/programmes

  • Presenter des rapports sur les portefeuilles technologiques aux vice-presidents et proposer des pistes pour ameliorer l'efficience globale des projets et programmes technologiques


Methodologies et outils propres aux projets technologiques (methodologies : Agile, SDLC, Scrum, etc.; outils : Clarizen, SharePoint, Project Library, etc.)


  • Obtenir le consensus des membres d'equipe quant aux methodologies, aux processus et aux modeles utilises dans le cadre des projets

  • Presenter de nouveaux outils PMO et de nouvelles fonctionnalites d'outils a l'equipe GTS et a d'autres departements

  • Etablir une unite de gouvernance transversale responsable de voir au respect des methodologies, processus et modeles utilises pour chaque projet

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs.
