Overview
Summary The Marketing Content Management Intern will support the Proposals team by managing, optimizing, and enhancing marketing content used in RFP responses. This role provides hands-on experience in content strategy, AI-enabled response tools, and sales enablement platforms while ensuring brand consistency and messaging effectiveness. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytically minded, and interested in B2B marketing, content management, and proposal development within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Collaborate with Marketing and Subject Matter Experts to refresh boilerplate content, case studies, past performance, and positioning statements.
- Conduct content audits and analytics reviews to identify gaps, outdated materials, and opportunities to enhance messaging effectiveness and win strategy alignment.
- Assist in leveraging AI-enabled RFP response management tools to improve content efficiency, standardization, and response quality.
- Support the Proposals team in managing, organizing, and updating marketing and sales content used in RFP responses within the Responsive platform.
- Maintain and optimize content libraries across Responsive, SharePoint, and Highspot to ensure proposal materials are accurate, current, and aligned with brand messaging and marketing strategy.
- Ensure brand consistency, voice, and visual standards are maintained across all proposal content and supporting materials.
- Assist in developing and documenting content management processes, naming conventions, and governance standards within proposal platforms.
- Support content tagging, metadata optimization, and search functionality improvements to enhance content discoverability and reuse.
- Track and report on content usage metrics and proposal content effectiveness to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and brand consistency.
- Interest in B2B marketing, proposal development, content strategy, or sales enablement.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with interest in using data and insights to improve content effectiveness.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Desire/Preferred Qualifications
- Junior or senior status in a degree program at a four-year accredited college/university.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or related field.
- Minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint; familiarity with content management systems preferred.
