Job Description:

The IT Site Support Specialist is the primary IT representative for the FormFactor Farmers Branch site, responsible for ensuring reliableday-to-day IT operations while supporting infrastructure initiatives in alignment with global IT standards.

This role serves as the single point of accountability for site IT services, interfaces directly with local business leaders, and collaborates closely with centralized Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Applications teams. The IT Site Lead balances hands-on technical support with project execution and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Site IT Operations & Support

  • Act as the primary IT contact for all employees and business leaders at the Farmers Branch site.

  • Providehands-on support forend-user computing, hardware, software, AV, and collaboration tools.

  • Ensure availability and reliability of site IT services during business hours and critical operations.

  • Manage incident resolution, service requests, and escalations in accordance with ITSM processes.

  • Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation for site systems and equipment.

Infrastructure & Projects

  • Support and execute infrastructure projects including network upgrades, server installations, endpoint deployments, and site expansions.

  • Coordinate with Global Infrastructure and Security teams to implement standard architectures and controls.

  • Participate in site readiness activities for new equipment, process changes, or business initiatives.

  • Assist with vendor coordination for site-based services and installations.

Business Partnership

  • Build strong relationships with local business and operations leaders.

  • Translate business needs into clear IT requirements and solutions.

  • Communicate planned outages, changes, and incidents in a timely and professional manner.

  • Represent IT in site meetings and act as an advocate for global IT standards.

Governance, Security & Compliance

  • Ensure site compliance with FormFactor IT policies and security standards.

  • Support security initiatives, audits, and remediation activities.

  • Promote best practices for data protection, endpoint security, and access control.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve service quality, stability, and user experience.

  • Contribute to global IT process improvements and knowledge sharing.

  • Maintain accurate site documentation, runbooks, and diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • 5-8 years of progressive IT support or infrastructure experience.

  • Experience serving as the primary or sole IT resource at a site or location.

  • Strong knowledge of:Windows and macOS endpoint environments, Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, WiFi, troubleshooting), Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools, and ITSM tools and service management processes.

  • Handson experience supporting infrastructure upgrades or site-based projects.

  • Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, or engineering environments.

  • Familiarity with Intune or endpoint management platforms, Enterprise networking and server environments, AV, lab, or specialized equipment support, and Vendor coordination or light project management experience.

Working Conditions:

  • Onsite presence required to support daily operations.

  • Occasional after-hours or weekend support for maintenance or critical incidents.

  • Ability to lift and handle IT equipment as needed.
