Job Overview:

Perform a variety of mammography procedures and exams that require independent judgment, technical skill and knowledge of the process of diagnosis of breast disease.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of Accredited School of Allied Health Program of Radiography

• Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Current NJ license to practice

• ARRT Registration,

• Mammography Certification,

• RTRM-Maintain CME credits

Essential Functions:

• Performs mammography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision in accordance to policies and procedures,

• Must provide patient services using digital mammography and Bone Station equipment,

• The technologist must be competent in patient satisfaction as well as technical skill,

• Exercises professional judgment in performance and patient care,

• Correctly utilizes the Radiology Information System to facilitate patient functions,

• Practices radiation protection safely routinely,
