In the Design Intern position, you'll support a collaborative design team working on new construction and renovation projects within the senior living industry. You'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while developing technical skills and contributing to real-world solutions that enhance the quality of life for residents and staff alike. What You'll Do and Impact:
Support the design team across multiple phases of new construction and renovation projects Research life safety, building codes, and regulatory requirements based on existing documentation and site conditions Assist with space planning, concept development, and design intent articulation Help develop preliminary drawings and client-facing materials including renderings, boards, and presentations Assist in the preparation of project documentation such as binders, registrations, and support materials Coordinate reselections and contribute to the creation and organization of construction document legends
