- Work with customers and stakeholders to develop requirements and scope for new projects.
- Develop and maintain pipelines for generating annotations, building datasets, training, and deploying models.
- Develop computer vision and machine learning based solutions for our inspection platforms.
- Create predictive models using historical and current inspection data.
- Implement data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and tuning.
- Work with the software team to integrate models into production applications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience
- 2+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering for candidates with a Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in an AI/ML engineering role for candidates without a degree in a related field
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong proficiency in Python, and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, OpenCV, Scikit-Learn, etc.).
- Strong understanding of deep learning and computer vision.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies and data pipeline development (Databricks).
- Knowledge of MLOps tools and CI/CD workflows for AI/ML applications.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with line scan data, laser profilers, depth maps, x-ray images, ground penetrating radar.
- Experience with data cleaning and engineering
- Experience implementing custom models and developing pipelines from scratch.
- Experience with robotics, localization/SLAM, sensor fusion.
- Familiarity with edge AI and IoT-driven machine learning solutions.
