Responsible for the conception, validation, and execution of new features and enhancements for MongoDB Atlas. Identifying customer needs through direct interactions, surveys, and feedback, and translating these needs into actionable product specifications. Engaging with stakeholders across design, engineering, marketing, and sales to prioritize and develop a roadmap. Regularly review customer and sales feedback to iterate on product offerings and ensure a seamless customer experience. Lead cross-functional teams to drive product decisions, leveraging market analysis and business metrics to align product development with MongoDB's strategic goals. Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure alignment on product vision and strategy. Serve as a key leader in facilitating and driving collaboration among engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams. Lead regular strategy meetings to align cross-functional stakeholders on priorities and ensure cohesive execution of the product vision. Proactively identify and resolve potential roadblocks, motivating and guiding team members towards achieving shared objectives. Regularly provide strategic insights and product updates to executive leadership, fostering transparent communication and alignment at all levels of the organization. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and customer satisfaction. Use data to inform product improvements and measure the success of new features. Conduct data analysis to derive insights on user behavior, product adoption, and feature usage. Prepare detailed reports and share findings with the product team to guide future enhancements. Act as a primary advocate for MongoDB Atlas customers by understanding their use cases thoroughly and ensuring that product features deliver maximum value. Engage with prospects and users to gather insights and drive product adoption. Participate in customer calls, product demos, and trade shows. Collaborate with sales and technical support to address customer concerns and gather feedback on new and existing features. Oversee the lifecycle of MongoDB Atlas offerings from ideation and public preview to General Availability (GA). Adjust product strategies based on feedback and changing market conditions. Conduct competitive analysis to stay ahead of market trends and competitor offerings. Manage timelines and set priorities to ensure timely and successful product launches. Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including technical guides, user manuals, and feature specifications. Ensure all internal stakeholders are well-informed and trained on new products and features. Write and update documentation, create internal presentations, and conduct training sessions for sales and support teams. Communicate product changes effectively to both internal teams and customers. 20% domestic travel required. Telecommuting permissible from anywhere in the US.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate years of experience in the related role or job offered.
