Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance, scalable stream processing components using technologies such as C++ and Golang. Ensure code is idiomatic, debuggable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested. Break down complex software development tasks into incremental deliverables, ensuring alignment with the broader system architecture. Lead design discussions, contribute to technical roadmaps, and mentor junior engineers. Provide constructive technical feedback in code reviews and technical documents to maintain high software quality. Investigate and resolve production issues. Utilize relevant telemetry and debugging tools to diagnose root causes and propose long-term solutions. Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement automation where feasible. Advocate for best practices in software development, deployment, and operational processes to improve team productivity and software reliability. Telecommuting permissible from anywhere in the US. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the related role or job offered.
