VP/Project Manager

AllianceBernstein L.P. seeks VP/Project Manager in New York, NY. Lead and assist in development of projects and programs that will establish quality objectives. Manage teams through all phases of cycle development, including analysis, project design and development, testing periods, installation, and final delivery. Interface directly with managers, employees, vendors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations. Create a work plan that includes a schedule, milestones, control, and risk factors. Identify complex risks, lead reviews, create risk mitigation and implement action plans. Manage multiple projects individually and as a team, all simultaneously. Enhance company and department reputation by accepting ownership, exploring new possibilities, and adding value to the organization. Maintain a strong understanding of business strategies, goals, and missions. Must appear in office 3 days per week; WFH permissible 2 days per week.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Finance, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Economics or related field and eight (8) years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in project management or the related role or job offered.

1. Skills: Experience and/or education must include: Experience in planning projects with large data sets and making decisions for data-driven analytics;

2. Experience partnering with business users to implement technological change such as building a new UI to internal and external specifications;

3. Experienced in Project Management Tools like JIRA, Azure Board;

4. Business analysis and processing of several data sets to devise optimal solution using SQL and Excel;

5. Proven experience in project management within an Investments team;

6. Managing and prioritizing business demands to align with available resources and strategic objectives; and

7. Knowledge of Agile practices to adapt to changing requirements and improve project outcomes. 

LOCATION: 66 Hudson Blvd E, New York, NY 10001. Must be available to work in office 3 days per week. Work from home is permissible 2 days per week.
