Position Summary
To provide assistance to the Head Gymnastics Coach, Assistant Coaches and staff. Ensures compliance with NCAA, SEC and institutional rules and regulations pertaining to the sport of Gymnastics.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Ability to read and write correspondence and to communicate proficiently with individuals within and outside the University by telephone and email. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks. This position entails proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to interact with individuals at all levels.

Duties/Responsibilities
Manage the overall administrative operation of the gymnastics program to include, but not limited to: organizing and maintaining efficient office operation supporting the head coach and two assistant coaches; providing assistant to the Creative Services Director as it relates to the effective internal and external communication; developing and maintaining the budget; coordinating and filtering incoming mailing and outgoing emails for prospective student-athletes corresponding with gym clubs, coaches and recruits.

Coordinate Team and Coach travel to include but not limited to negotiating vendor contracts and forecasting budgets; managing travel budget; booking flights & charter buses; booking hotels, hotel meeting rooms & any required equipment; scheduling/coordinating team meals; arranging & distributing per diem & travel expense cash; organizing charter buses; and producing itinerary of our team trips

Coordinate special events, retreats and entertainment for student-athletes and staff in accordance with NCAA rules and regulations.

Assist the coaches in development of competition itinerary and planning of the team banquet, alumni functions, and staff liaison to GEF functions. Purchase senior momentos, banquet gifts and awards, and post season gifts.

Coordinate and assist with on-campus recruiting activities, including but not limited to assisting with giving campus tours, collecting required documentation and communication with prospective student-athletes and their family members in accordance with NCAA rules.

Serve as the liaison to the gymnastics booster club, Ten.0 Club, to ensure alignment of growing fan engagement and attend monthly club meetings.

Meet Day Operations: AWAY Meets: travel with team and serve as point of contact for travel-related logistics with hotels, air, and ground transportation and assist in the filming of routines for each gymnast during competition. HOME Meets: make certain that recruits and other guests are adequately serviced at ticket gate and in coliseum and assist in the filming of routines for each gymnast during competition.
