Inova Financial Operations is looking for a dedicated Sr. Financial Analyst to join the Team. This hybrid role will be full-time working day-shift Monday - Friday. The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for a broad range of financial analysis, reporting, and data management/analytics activities. Sr. Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
- Assists with a broad range of finance and analytical functions including but not limited to budgeting and forecasting, financial analytics and reporting, profitability and utilization analysis, data management, presentation development, benchmarking, month-end close support, and various other special projects.
- Performs financial analysis and pro forma business case models to support service line growth and profitability initiatives.
- Collaborates with clinical and non-clinical areas of the health system to develop and communicate analyses to assist with and drive financial, clinical, and operational strategies and insights.
- Partners with and develop strong relationships with internal clients throughout the organization.
- Manages and leads concurrent projects and multiple work streams across the organization, and prepares ad-hoc analysis requests for management in an accurate and timely manner.
- Creates and maintains financial business intelligence dashboards, reporting packages, etc.
- Provides shared support for routine department/division processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned by senior leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, economics, business management, or other related field, or equivalent experience working in the accounting or finance field
- Experience: 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, economics, business management financial analytics/informatics, or other related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience building proformas, budgets, and return on investment (ROI) analyses preferred. Previous experience and knowledge of clinical/financial analytics, BI systems and dashboards, cost accounting, Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle Smartview/EPM reporting, KauffmanHall/Axiom, Horizon Performance Manager (HPM), and PowerBI preferred. Previous experience in and knowledge of healthcare industry economics, trends, and operations in a hospital, provider and/or payor setting preferred.
