Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and attentive communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in required reports, logs, and/or electronic systems, and support Allied Universal team members with routine security-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
