- Design, build, and evolve end-to-end full-stack systems spanning front-end applications, backend services, APIs, and integrations
- Contribute to architectural decisions around scalability, reliability, performance, and security in distributed systems
- Apply and uphold engineering standards, design patterns, and best practices through code, reviews, and technical collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Data, Security, and Platform partners to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
- Develop modern front-end applications using React or Angular with TypeScript, with a strong focus on usability and performance
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using RESTful patterns and modern frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Node.js)
- Implement asynchronous processing, event-driven workflows, and API versioning strategies as part of production system
- Contribute to cloud-native and microservices-based architectures in real-world environments
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and Windsurf
- Implement and integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications, including model inference APIs and data-driven workflows
- Make informed tradeoffs between real-time and batch processing, latency, throughput, and scalability
- Collaborate with Data Science and ML Engineering teams to operationalize AI features in production systems
- Build secure applications with strong attention to authentication, authorization, and data protection
- Implement identity and access patterns such as OAuth2, RBAC, and session management
- Ensure systems include appropriate logging, observability, and auditability aligned with enterprise and regulatory expectations
- Contribute directly to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows that support rapid, reliable delivery
- Build and deploy containerized applications using tools such as Docker and modern deployment pipelines
- Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and resilience to meet defined service-level objectives (SLOs)
- Act as a senior technical contributor who leads by example through high-quality design and code
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other engineers through collaboration, reviews, and technical discussion
- Influence technical direction and best practices without direct people management responsibility
- Serve as a trusted technical partner to stakeholders across engineering, product, and platform teams
- Front-End Development: Strong hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular, including TypeScript, state management, and performance optimization for complex, data-driven applications
- Backend & API Development: Proficiency in building and operating backend services using Python (FastAPI), Node.js, or equivalent modern frameworks, with experience designing RESTful APIs, handling versioning, and implementing asynchronous and event-driven workflows
- Cloud & Containerization: Practical experience deploying and operating applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with strong command of Docker, container-based runtimes, and cloud-native service patterns
- DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows, with familiarity using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent platforms to support reliable, repeatable delivery
- Security & Identity: Experience implementing secure application patterns, including authentication and authorization (OAuth2, RBAC, token-based access), secrets management, and secure data handling practices appropriate for regulated environments
- AI / ML Integration & Tooling: Experience integrating AI and ML capabilities into production applications, including working with model inference APIs, feature pipelines, and data-driven services. Familiarity with modern AI development and productivity tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar AI-assisted coding environments is beneficial
- Data & Observability: Working knowledge of logging, metrics, and tracing for distributed systems, with experience using observability tools and dashboards to monitor performance, reliability, and system behavior
- Healthcare & Regulated Environments (Preferred): Exposure to healthcare technology environments, including clinical systems, healthcare data platforms, or regulated data workflows, with an understanding of security, privacy, and compliance considerations (e.g., HIPAA-aligned controls) is strongly preferred

- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 7+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with a strong foundation in modern front-end frameworks and backend/API development, and a track record of delivering production-quality systems
- 7+ years of experience contributing to system design and architectural decisions for scalable, reliable, and performant distributed systems, exercising sound technical judgment without formal managerial responsibility
- 7+ years of experience using deep practical knowledge of cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and operating services in production environments
- 7+ years of experience integrating AI and ML capabilities into real-world applications, with an understanding of model inference patterns, latency and throughput considerations, and scalability tradeoffs
- 7+ years of experience securing application development, including authentication and authorization patterns, identity and access management concepts, and compliance considerations relevant to enterprise or regulated environments
- 7+ years of experience providing technical leadership through collaboration, code quality, design reviews, and mentorship, influencing engineering outcomes without direct people management

The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
