Job Description




As a Security Officer Resiential Patrol in Wellington, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This is a driving post. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while contributing to a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, streets, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity to help support community rules, report issues, and/or notify appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Assist with observing property conditions and reporting maintenance concerns, disturbances, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Must possess a guard card.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
