Director of Traded Finance – (job location is New York, NY; employer is Walleye Capital LLC) – Manage Traded Finance strategies including portfolio optimization and funding trades. Provide daily sign-off on and execute Traded Finance transactions, as well as sign-off on Risk and PnL for the trade strategy. Utilize various delta one products to improve costs, efficiency, returns and capital usage for the firm. Provide weekly global market insight on funding markets and opportunities. Manage strategic projects for the Treasury department. Manage trading risks including market risk, financing, interest rates, and foreign exchange. Generate new trading ideas. Assist in building out total return swap product. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field and seven (7) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role. Three (3) years of the required experience must have included experience with: architecting and executing strategies across US funding markets, utilizing equities, options, futures and equity swaps; optimizing capital efficiency through advanced margin structuring and cross product netting; pricing and trading equity funding markets and their dislocations; decomposing, hedging, and monetizing risks including delta, interest rate, foreign exchange, dividend, and growth rate components, and actively managing these ongoing risks; modeling and forecasting P&L across diverse financing structures including stock borrow/ loan, total return swaps and synthetic positions; trading and managing global financing markets across regions, capturing basis differentials and cross border opportunities; structuring and negotiating optimal corporate action outcomes, including dividend treatment, merger considerations, spin-off elections, and stock dividends; negotiating and structuring bespoke liquidity facilities and funding arrangements with bank counterparties, and analyzing the risks associated with these trades and how they affect pricing; pricing single name, ETF, index trades; trading global equities, options, swaps, futures, foreign exchange, and interest rates; and coding. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location. Salary: $300,000/year.
