Vice President, Private Credit Investment Operations – (job location is New York, NY; employer is Nomura Capital Management LLC) – Oversee fund operations and accounting activities for private credit funds, including interval funds and closed-end vehicles. Manage fund accounting processes, NAV calculations, and financial reporting. Review and approve complex securities pricing and valuations. Coordinate with third-party administrators and custodians, and supervise month-end and quarter-end close processes. Oversee trade settlement, cash management, and reconciliation processes. Monitor and maintain compliance with investment guidelines. Manage loan operations including documentation, funding, and ongoing maintenance. Coordinate with deal teams on new investments and portfolio monitoring. Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals. Implement and optimize operational workflows and procedures. Drive automation initiatives and technology enhancements, and collaborate with IT to implement and upgrade systems. Ensure robust internal controls and documentation to manage operational risk assessment and mitigation. Support internal and external audit processes and monitor regulatory compliance requirements. Requirements: Master’s Degree in Finance, Quantitative Finance or Business Administration with concentration in Finance, plus 3 years of experience in the offered position or in a financial operations position. All required experience must have included: participating in fund administration, compliance and financial operations for private credit funds (interval funds); working with fund administrator to prepare quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial reporting and audit responses; leading onboarding process for new investments and serving as operational point person in trade settlement and reconciliation processes; assisting in trade process for liquid securities and capital calls/distributions for illiquid partnerships; and supporting and participating in the NAV valuation process for a 1940 ACT Investment Company. #LI-DNI.
