Thermal Spray Technician (TES) - 2nd Shift

Description
Join a team of professionals where you will be primarily responsible for daily production flow in the thermal spray area. This requires a general and detailed understanding of each thermal spray process area. We offer a 15% shift differential when working on 2nd shift.
Come Build with Us:
  • Perform all production related thermal spray processes followign required work instructions in every area of the process.
  • Perform prevantive maintenance and diagnosistics on plasma spray equipment and maintain applicable processes as required. Keep required maintenance logs up to date.
  • Report all deviations in proper equipment performance to employee's direct supervisor and/or Machine Maintenance personnel (when warranted).
  • Consult with direct supervior, and/or Engineering as applicable, for tools and tooling needed to complete projects.
  • Maintain production tooling and fixtures.
  • Support and maintain overall shop efficency by keeping work areas clean and safe.
  • Cooperate and coordinate with other employees for usage of shared shop equipment.
  • Inspect and document all operations per TES procedures as stated in the Quality Manual as well as per specifications of the project manager and direct supervisor
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
Bring Your Expertise:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Some experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
  • Intermediate level in MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Must have ability to pass medical evaluation for respirator use and abide by requirements for wearing respiratory protection such as a Powered Air Purifying Respirator.
  • Must possess good finger dexterity skills, and math skills.
  • Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time while performing duties.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds in a safe manner, and request assistance when warranted.
