About This Role

This role plays a key part in delivering seamless access and dining experiences for residents and conference guests across Housing and Dining Services(HDS). Using the CBORD Card System and Odyssey Privilege Control System (PCS), you'll coordinate the behind-the-scenes operations that keep doors opening and meals flowing smoothly. Collaboration with HDS system administrators ensures every service is accurate, efficient, and right on time.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage meal plan and door access operations, coordinating system functions and troubleshooting issues.
  • Compile and process housing charges, account adjustments, and reconciliations for Jardine Apartment residents.
  • Provide customer support and resolve account inquiries with accuracy and care.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for 150+ sponsored students, including athletics and special programs, ensuring smooth account and meal service management.
  • Coordinate and track special meal plans, incentive programs, and retail promotions.
  • Handle cash transactions and reporting functions with precision, much like a bank cashier.
  • Compile data and generate detailed financial and operational reports.

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.


What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Requires a high school diploma and one year of relevant experience.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in technical administrative support work including interpretation of information, collecting and compiling information from various sources and analyzing data
  • Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications
  • Experience with spreadsheet applications; ability to extract, review and analyze data from a variety of sources, including electronic
  • Ability to interact effectively with others including a demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service
  • Ability to represent the department and university in a professional manner
  • Knowledge of general accounting and cash handling procedures
  • Possess a high level of integrity when working with cash, financial transactions, and confidential information
