Medical Student Tutor - Dean's Office

Medical Student Tutors work closely with the Academic Support
Office to provide a wide range of academic support services to medical students
at each stage of their medical school career.

*Eligibility: Current, registered, UCLA DGSOM medical
students are eligible to apply.

Hourly Salary Range: $18.60 - 40.00

All Required:

• Must be a current, registered,
  UCLA DGSOM medical student.
• Familiarity and knowledge of
  DGSOM medical curriculum.
• Ability to work independently
  and manage time effectively.
• Must possess excellent
  communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work with diverse
  constituencies and to contribute to a welcoming and affirming learning
  environment.
• Familiarity and knowledge of
  learning platforms and technology and their application in an academic setting,
  including but not limited to Gryphon or Zoom.
• Ability to teach and
  facilitate learning of medical students in a variety of modalities, including
  1:1, in small groups, and through review sessions and workshops.
