Weston has an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to play a prominent role in the continued expansion of our municipal water and wastewater engineering practice in the San Antonio area. This position would serve as the client lead for San Antonio Water System (SAWS), with responsibility for pursuing and winning new work, mentoring staff, and driving the ongoing growth and profitability of the SAWS account. We currently have six contracts with SAWS with a backlog of $1M+.
This is aclient-focusedseller-doerposition for which the candidate musthaveboth business development and project management experience for municipal water/wastewater design services intheSan Antonio area.Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for networkingwithclients to identify and define projects, developingand negotiatingproposals, buildingteams of technical staff and subconsultants to execute work,maintainingquality management processes to ensure that the work remains on track, and deliveringaccording to scope, schedule, and budget.Fast career track advancement to more senior Principal Project Manager or Client Service Manager roles will be commensurate with business development and management ability. Only candidatespossessing a Professional Engineering (P.E.) license in Texaswiththe experience above will be considered.Threeindependentreferences verifying experience will berequested.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degreein civil,chemical,environmental, or mechanical engineering
  • CurrentProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas
  • 15+years of experience in the field of water/ wastewaterengineeringdesign
  • 10+ years of experience project managing water/wastewater
  • Municipal wastewater collection/treatmentdesignengineeringexperience inSTX.
  • Municipal wastewater collection/treatment clientrelationshipsinSTX.
  • Demonstrated selling and proposal development successto local clients.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including financial responsibility.
  • Strongpassion to engage client organizationsto identify and win new projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to convey technical presentations.
  • Ability to recruit, build, mentor, and foster an engineering teamas a leader.

  • Successful project management of $2M or more design/construction projects annually.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Salary Range: $112,914 - $149,506 - $185,994
