About the Opportunity:

As a Flow Line Tech, you will work in a flowline where parts move from one process to another. In the role you will be removing the burr from parts that were lasered before moving to subsequent processes such as reaming, countersinking, and marking. You will be on your feet all day at a workstation, but you will be moving frequently.

Location: Eastford, CT

This is a full-time role 7:00 am to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Deburrmetal detailsusing hand tools to remove burr fromcutting
  • Countersinkand ream holes withpresses andhand tools
  • Markingparts usingelectronic etchor dot peen
  • Inspect own work using basic inspection equipment and quick-check gaging
  • Use Kaizen to flow parts and drive down costs
  • Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time according to Company policy
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Mustbe authorized towork in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders whorequireemployer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations
  • Must be able to read and understand work instructions within the work order

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Mechanical skills
  • Ability to be onyourfeet all day
  • Ability to use air and electric tools to remove metal
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Understanding and reading basic blueprint skill is a plus
  • Self-starter/motivated team player

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Must be able tofrequentlystand and walk
  • Musthavethe ability to usebasic hand tools.
