Overview
The Guest House Assistant operates the Guest House outside working hours of the Guest House Manager. Registers, places and tends to the well-being of the guests. Works with volunteers and EVS team to maintain a clean, well-kept facility. Qualifications Certifications: , Education: , Work Experience: Customer services Responsibilities Assists with computer data entry as required by Manager. Fills room vacancies daily with all attempts to keep the house full; Consults with Guest House leadership when necessary if help is needed making determinations about room assignment priorities. Informs all guests of guidelines and policies and sees that they are enforced. Assumes housekeeping duties when Environmental Services is not available, including deep cleaning of rooms as needed. Rooms should be cleaned as soon as possible when vacated. Keeps facility neat and clean, this includes light housekeeping and doing laundry. Maintains a smooth turnover of guest room from one guest to the next. Makes oneself available to the guests for conversation. Prepare a continental breakfast daily for guests. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $15.91per hour - $25.77per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
