SUMMARY:
The Community Relations Intern supports the planning , coordination and execution various Community Relations programs, events, and activations that advance the mission of the Patriots Foundation. This role works collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality community engagement efforts, ensuring programs and events are executed efficiently and in alignment with organization's standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the execution of community outreach programs that promote and advance the Patriots Foundation mission.
- Assist in planning and executing NFL initiatives, including PLAY 60, Crucial Catch, Salute to Service, and Inspire Change.
- Assist with Patriots Foundation social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling and community engagement.
- Support Salesforce communications, ensuring timely, accurate and engaging responses.
- Assist with coordinating Patriots Training Camp community efforts, including support of the Patriots Foundation tent.
- Support game day Community Relations programming, including pregame, halftime activations, and Row of Honor.
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
- Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-2 years of professional experience.
- Event planning or coordination experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); familiarity with social media platforms preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to interact successfully with diverse groups and stakeholders.
- Ability to assist with multiple projects simultaneously including the ability to manage projects from start to finish.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed.
