Position Summary

Performs operation to prepare and assemble a variety of models of frames and/or frame sub-assemblies to quantity and quality standards for upholstered or wood frame furniture.

Major Accountabilities/Critical Responsibilities

1. Grab cut frame parts and place on assembly table and/or assembly clamp.
2. Use specification sheet as guide to assemble cut parts.
3. Glue connecting wood parts with a brush or squirt bottle.
4. Use a rubber mallet to hammer parts together.
5. Use a pneumatic staple gun or pneumatic screw driver (depending on frame) to attach wood parts together.
6. Rotate or lift the frame to reach certain components.
7. Screw legs to frame using pneumatic screw driver.
8. Lift completed frame from table and move to spring-up area.
9. Use claw hammer to beat in T-Nuts.
10. May perform other duties/ special or non-routine assignments as instructed.
